The One With A Bit Of A Mix

Very little Scope Opera this week so lets have a look at some
Listener Feedback:

Hi Lee & Maf,
I'm just listening to the podcast from last Thursday's show and laughing my head off listening to you two. So, you're interested in my Bermuda Triangle are you...It's very Ayrey....Ha! However, Bermuda is not in the Caribbean....it is situated 600 miles directly east of North Carolina.
Thank you so much for playing Raising Caine!!! It sounded really good apart from the "Mary, Mary, quite contrary part" because it it went very quiet in parts.....but that is my producers fault as its someting to do with the effects. I don't honestly know for sure if the nursery ryhme is public domain...I guess I will have check that out before I get sued.
Here's another song exclusive to Snug and it's called "Man in the Moon" . I hope it's ok to play.
Thank you.
Jackie Ayres

We discuss Mafs failed bid to be subliminal master of the world (rain forest, rain forest) which was doomed, like most his projects, from an attack of CBAness..(ribbit, ribbit)

Tamara send us a link to a black search engine

Lee sees the Simpson movie and likes it...

We have another bout of failed Skyping...is it us...or do we coincidently pick people who rubbish

There's only one more show before our holidays so get those competition entries in before next week and if you win we'll send you a random CD or 2 from Mafs eclectic collection (and possibly one of Mafs custom made subliminal cds(rain forest, ribbit))

August 2nd - Show 163 - Podcast 78

The One With The Time

The time is almost five past nine
Scopey Opera - not only do we get feedback concerning one intrigue but now we find messages threatening the Fettuchinis who haven't appeared on our show for a couple of years...which leaves us stunned and bewildered

Almost as bewildered as hearing that Lee is going to the Gym!! there wil now be a small pause while reality snaps back into place
.
.
.
.
there we go
The time is almost five past nine

We attempt a bit of Skypejacking again this week with fair to middling success:
We get hold of Fatty(Vicky) & Dave,
eventually speak to Jackie Ayres about her song Raising Caine
and have a small text conversation with a 53yr old woman who is 'a right laugh'.

The time is almost twenty to ten
Lee starts his own branch of the English language...my favourite word of the night: implichanges
(possibly means changes that can have implications.

We introduce a new competition...for a chance to win a random CD from 'Mafs box' just tell us the titles and artists in the clip on our website (www.snugradio.co.uk) under the competition section.

The time is almost quarter past ten
Find out how a discussion on Firefox turns into hunting Chavs
and then listen to Canada Sings - as we find another 'listener' (well she's on our Frappr map and myspace page) - Heather who loves to sing

The time is almost eleven o clock

The One With No Steve

Scope opera - It seems Steve was on the doomed Brazilian flight that crashed recently....we've not heard from him since..but hope he's ok...who'd do our intros? We have Mychingo voicemails from Bill, Elizabeth and Audrey...two of these messeages had hidden text addendums, like little voicemail easter eggs. Audrey even joins us in the chat room fleetingly and 'proves' she's not Tamara, however, she does write in the same font that CindyB uses later on (after Audrey has left) ???

we fleeting touch on Microsoft impressionism, living forever and Lees website - www.bigfunparty.co.uk go there to see videos of some of his karaoke regulars

The town where the Snug lives was flooded over the last week and Lee takes a video on his phone...he'll get round to posting it at some point...you know what he's like.

Once everyone's webcams come on line we go a bit webcam centric and Maf gets some Texan hassle about getting married...we also find out the name chosen for Lee's new baby...to be quite frank...it's a bit gay! (sorry Mrs Lee...it is)
