The One With Some News

There's a bit of deja vu for our live listeners as Maf, once again, forgets to start recording...after half an hour..Doh! We get a recap of the Scope opera and then try and summarise the last 30 minutes in2

June 21th - Show 159 - Podcast 72

The One With Burkina Faso

We do some stuff and catch up on the Scope Opera (Lee even shows a spark of genius as he secretly works out who's 'helping' the Scope Opera along

We touch briefly on 'disappointment' in it's various forms

We discuss the future which leads us to the Microsoft Surface..HERE'S a link to a video of it. Damn cool if you ask us. Mr. Gates, if you're listening and would like some UK beta testers, just give us a shout.

During the show we get an email from a nice man in Burkina Faso offering us a load of money, so we phone him up live on air and see what the deal is...he's not very talkative though so eventually we call the answer machine of a local insurance brokers to see if any of our listeners can understand what the hell she's saying

I'm afraid I won't be able to listen this week even though I'm back from "holiday". My husband is taking me to an afternoon MLB game at rangers stadium, (thats a major league baseball game, the texas rangers vs. the chicago cubs), at 1pm where i'll be getting burnt in the sun and drunk off cheap beer but, please DO feel free to be funny anyway, in spite of my absence. i would hate for the other listeners to be slighted because of my spontaneous schedule.

The One With Some Snug 2

Work delays the shownotes so they'll be sketchier than usual

We have a massive recap on 'How to get in touch with the show' and then get into the Scope opera. Things are taking a turn for the wierder

We move onto various forms of technology (archos, N95, Wii mod-chips) and go off at a tangent about Mafs coffee, brazilians, the Apprentice and sandwiches. We also discover whyLee leaves the cinema halfway thru POTC:AWE.

We end the show with either an extended Harikaroke or and early Snug 2...Depends on your point of view

June 7th - Show 157 - Podcast 70

The One With Beer Solutions



The Scopey Soap - Phil is apparently dead but we've has a message from his brother Bill threatening action. We also get a post-humous message from Phil and find that Audrey is a DJ (who'd'a thunk it)

Maf has been suffering from Garden-CBA for a while now, so last week he got himself a gardener...oddly enough, last week Lee lost a gardener.
We discuss reality tv before swiftly moving on to The Snug reality show. Can we find anyone who will pay us 75 grand to broadcast non-stop for 13 weeks?? (no! is probably the answer)
